Friends

Our art activities continue to center on representing ourselves and our new friends we are making at school.
We interviewed everyone with some simple questions and received some fun and interesting answers. We can get to know people by asking questions and learning more about them.

We chose a boy or girl figure to represent ourselves and then chose a friend at school and their corresponding figure. Friendships form quickly at preschool!

Three more friends shared the All About Me bucket this week.

This exercise allows each child to speak in front of the group and share some of their favorite things.

It also gives everyone else the chance to be a listener and ask questions.

We decorated our figures, adding hair and clothing with colored markers.
The weather was perfect for playground time and we took advantage of it everyday.

Fresh air and sunshine are essential ingredients to a great day.

We practiced some grown up roles in the beauty shop and the housekeeping corner.

It was a week of recognizing our friends at school and continuing to share about ourselves too.

Ask your child to name a friend at school.
